And one of the first pet food brands who got b-corp certified.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">No artificial nasties or cheap filler ingredients <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Edgard &amp; Cooper Wet Dog Food Review<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Edgard and Cooper offer a wide range of wet food options for dogs &#8211; <strong>from 400g tins to 150g cups<\/strong>. They actually loved it! And me, dog mum and dog trainer, was also pleased. The food looked good, smelled good and even in the lamb recipe wasn&#8217;t too much visible fat stuck to the tin (which is very typical in lots of brands due to the nature of the meat).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Edgard &amp; Cooper&#8217;s recipes contain high quality, fresh meat with essential proteins. The tins contained proper pieces of meat and veggies that could be &#8216;identified&#8217; and did not look like &#8216;mashed up, soaked in gravy&#8217; canned dog food (as unfortunately so many other canned dog foods do). So, big plus from my side. The cups had a slightly different consistency, which was more like a pate and is very convenient to spread on <a href=\"https:\/\/enrichyourdogslife.com\/de\/lick-mats-for-dogs-the-art-of-delicious-distraction\/lick mats\/\">lick mats<\/a> and | or use within enrichment toys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Let&#8217;s take a closer look, first at the 400g Tins, then the 150g cups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/3PUTEkY\">Game &amp; Duck for Adult Dogs<\/a><\/strong> was our absolute favourite. It looked really good, the dogs loved it and the first three ingredients (the main ingredients) are Game 35%, Duck 25%, and Sweet Potato 2%. It contains 106 kcal \/ 100 g and you can find a feeding calculator on their webpage too. It also has a 4.8 rating (600 reviews) on Trustpilot. The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/42rWkOt\">Lamb &amp; Beef for Adult Dogs<\/a><\/strong> has as well a 4.8 Trustpilot rating (675 reviews) and the main ingredients are Lamb 30%, Beef 30% and Carrot 2%. As mentioned before, it looked really good too and my dogs really enjoyed both tins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Let&#8217;s take a quick look at the 150 cups (also available in 300g). Their consistency is more pate like, ie less &#8216;bits and pieces&#8217; and more smooth. My dogs loved it and I very easy to spread onto lick mats etc. The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/3CnPTkV\">Chicken &amp; Turkey for Adult Dogs<\/a><\/strong> is packed with nutritious ingredients: Chicken 30%, Turkey 26%, Minerals, Carrots 2%, Cranberries 1%, Tomatoes 1%, Pumpkin 1%, Apples 1%, Parsley 0.1%, Dill 0.1% &#8211; quite a mix and amount that aren&#8217;t that often found in &#8216;wet foods&#8217;. With 84.5 kcal \/ 100 g it has a lower kcal count &#8211; if you are looking for options that are less &#8216;dense&#8217;.  With a 4.8 rating on Trustpilot (602 reviews) it&#8217;s a very popular choice too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/4gnA23E\">Organic Fish for Adult Dogs<\/a><\/strong> is made with 100% certified organic ingredients &#8211; which I love and gets a big thumbs up from me. Whilst it&#8217;s called &#8216;fish&#8217; it doesn&#8217;t fully consist of fish (which is actually often the case that you don&#8217;t find only the main protein included). But it does contain of organic other meat bits &#8211; which is quite rare. Here&#8217;s the ingredients list. The ones with the * have been produced from 100% controlled organic farming (according to their webpage) and the main ingredients are: organic Beef*, organic Chicken*, organic Fish*  and make up 14%. Other ingredients are organic pork*, minerals, organic carrots* 2%, organic peas* 2%, organic fennel* 0.1%, organic rosehip* 0.1%, organic chamomile* 0.1% So for those of you who like to shop organic, this is a great option. It also has a 4.8 rating (300 reviews).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/3CvJTGJ\">Chicken &amp; Salmon for Senior Dogs<\/a><\/strong> consists of 42% Chicken, 14% Salmon , Minerals, 2% Peas, 1% Sweet Potato , 1% Pumpkin, 1% Broccoli, 1% Cranberries 1%, 0.1% Parsley 0.1% and 0.1% Dill. It also has a 4.8 rating (350 reviews) and my senior dog Rambo LOVED it! We tried the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/3WAYdoh\">Fresh Venison &amp; Free-Run Duck for Adult Dogs<\/a><\/strong> and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/3PW2kro\">Fresh Free-Run Chicken &amp; Norwegian Salmon for Senior Dogs<\/a><\/strong> (especially for Rambo, my 12 year old Staffy x!). Both have a 4.8 Trustpilot rating (Adult Dog Venison &amp; Duck 1452 reviews | Chicken and Salmon Senior Dog Food 1250 reviews).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Both do come in different sized kibble options (see Edgard &amp; Cooper pic for more details) to suit dogs of different sizes and your dog&#8217;s chewing habits. You will only be able to get the large sized kibble in the 12kg bags (which makes sense if you have a big dog or like me several big dogs). The regular kibble comes in 700g, 1kg, 2.5kg and 7kg bags. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/3WAYdoh\">Fresh Venison &amp; Free-Run Duck<\/a><\/strong> contains 25% Duck and 5% Venison and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/3PW2kro\">Chicken &amp; Norwegian Salmon <\/a><\/strong>contains of 35% fresh Chicken 35% and 5% fresh Salmon. Both packages were super easy to open and to store &#8211; due to the smaller sizes of the bags (for bigger bag sizes we use <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3Dkaw1R\">these storage containers<\/a> &#8211; easily fits 10kg bags and I recommend to store kibble within the bag, not pouring it into the storage container).  The bags are made with easy to recycle paper (which I love) and have an inside layer of bioplastic (made from potatoes and you can read more about this <a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/4bbSPxY\">here<\/a>). The insider layer is needed as it keeps the kibble fresh (another reason why I recommend to keep it stored in the bags). Ths packaging is easy to recycle though and not made from common plastic, which is most often the case with other brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The regular kibble was a good size for my dogs (Panda weighs around 24kg and is my smallest, A is the heaviest with 38kg) and it didn&#8217;t smell, looked fresh and wasn&#8217;t as &#8216;greasy&#8217; as some other brands&#8217; kibble sometimes is. This means for us it&#8217;s also a great option to take on walks and use as rewards without having greasy, smelly kibble fingers (I hate that haha, iykyk).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The dogs loved both kibble flavours and the transition to the <a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/4h9gKiM\">Edgard &amp; Cooper<\/a> food was super easy &#8211; without any tummy upset or runny stool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Edgard &amp; Cooper Dog Treats and Doggy Dental Sticks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Let&#8217;s talk treatos! I&#8217;ll split this into categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bravo Dog Biscuits<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">First up <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/40DdVjI\">Bravo Biscuits<\/a><\/strong>. We tried the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/40DdVjI\">Banana and Peanut Butter<\/a><\/strong> ones, they also come in the following flavours: Chicken, Chicken &amp; Turkey, Salmon &amp; Chicken and Apple &amp; Blueberry. The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/40DdVjI\">Bravo Biscuits<\/a><\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/40DdVjI\">Banana and Peanut Butter<\/a><\/strong> contain of 38.1% Oat, 34.4% Millet, 10% dried Banana (dried) 10%, and 1% Peanut Butter (you can find the <a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/40DdVjI\">full ingredients list here<\/a>). The treats are &#8216;dry&#8217; treats &#8211; like proper biscuits and are relatively big. They. can easily be broken into two (or even smaller pieces). Panda and Ace LOVED them &#8211; Rambo and Chalkie weren&#8217;t keen at all. The boys are generally not too keen on Banana and Peanut Butter biscuits though &#8211; only if I bake them. Can we also please quickly admire the incredibly cute packaging of these? I don&#8217;t know about you but pretty, more eco-friendly packaging gets a bonus point from me and makes me happy. And it even states the carbon footprint for this product! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Right, now on to the taste testing. We tried the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/42wQWK3\">Strips &#8211; Lamb and Turkey<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/42vYvAq\">Strips &#8211; Turkey and Chicken<\/a><\/strong> for all ages. The Strips come in additional flavours and are relatively big but can easily be broken down into smaller pieces! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/42vYvAq\">Turkey and Chicken<\/a><\/strong> contains 58% of Chicken and 12% of Turkey &#8211; amounts of meats that are really nice to see in manufactured treats (if you feed natural chews, ie  a goat ear you&#8217;ll have a higher content obvs but lots of manufactured treats would have way less). With a 4.9 rating on Trustpilot these seem to be a crowd pleaser and were also loved by all 4 of my dogs. The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/42wQWK3\">Lamb and Turkey<\/a><\/strong> contain 58% Turkey 58% and 12% Lamb. They have a 4.5 rating &#8211; a recent review said that the new recipe wasn&#8217;t great (and it seems to have been left by a doodle owner, poodles and poodle mixes can be quite fussy). We only know this recipe, my dogs loved it and also have no food allergies, so were happy with it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Dog Mum Verdict: The treats have a really nice consistency and were a high reward option for us when out and about.  I must say though that the strips generally had a quite intense smell &#8211; which didn&#8217;t make them any less enticing to my dogs and was great for &#8216;find it&#8217; games in long grass and the forest. This might be something to keep in mind  though when you take them out and about where you  cannot wash your hands and are easily grossed out by smelling doggy stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bites<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The Bites are meaty, soft treato bites and they come in quite wide variety of flavours and come in small (12mm) and large (28mm) bites and 50 or 120g bags. Great if you have a smaller dog who doesn&#8217;t eat as many treats and you only want to carry around a smaller bag (or the bigger bags for people like me who carry around quite a lot of treatos on a daily basis).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">We tried the <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/40DAUey\">Bites in Chicken<\/a> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/4h9RR7u\">Lamb and Turkey<\/a><\/strong> (for all ages). They are grain free, low calories and oh boy did my dogs LOVE them! <strong>They were paws down the most loved bits ever!<\/strong> And pleased me, dog mum and dog trainer. Easy to use, no smell, good to touch and carry around and high reward. What&#8217;s not to love. We aren&#8217;t doing any dog sports or really intense labour (no working dogs) but Panda and I love to go on really long walks (up to 10km) and take Chalkie with us on the shorter ones. We took the bars with us on some of these and Panda enjoyed them whilst I had a coffee and cake. We also tried them at home as a simple snack in-between and what shall I say. I wasn&#8217;t surprised that the dogs loved the meaty ones but <strong>even the plant-based <a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/4gm5Y8u\">Apple and Blueberry<\/a> one was a big hit<\/strong> and kept Panda away from my cake! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Doggy Dental Sticks<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The Edgard &amp; Cooper <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/4giqlTW\">Doggy Dental Sticks<\/a><\/strong> come in three different sizes (small, medium and large) as well as two different plant-based flavours: Dental Apple &amp; Eucalyptus and Dental Mint &amp; Strawberry (both rated at 4.7). They were non-smelling, looked appealing and the Wadis loved them. My Bully Boys never eat dental sticks &#8211; and also didn&#8217;t want to give these ones a try. Panda stole the package with the last stick though, so what can I say: it&#8217;s a massive paws up from my Wadi Dogs (Arabian Village Dogs) haha. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">They claim to be &#8220;extra long chew time&#8221; and are suitable for dogs aged 4 months and above. Dental sticks in our households are never long lasting and are kind of a quick snack for mine. I don&#8217;t consider dental sticks to be a long lasting chew though but if this is something you are looking for, then this might not be holding up for your dog.
