My journey to becoming a games-based, positive reinforcement dog trainer specialising in rescue dogs and bully breeds wasn&#8217;t a straight path. They\u2019re not just my companions; they\u2019re my daily inspiration, my enrichment testers, and constant reminders of why thoughtful training and care matter so much. Here\u2019s a quick intro to the crew:<\/p><ul data-start=\"547\" data-end=\"1330\"><li data-start=\"547\" data-end=\"736\"><p data-start=\"549\" data-end=\"736\"><strong data-start=\"549\" data-end=\"558\">Rambo<\/strong> \u2014 My OG and the heart of the home. A nearly 13-year-old Staffy\/Amstaff mix, he\u2019s the Chief Happiness Officer around here. Full of love, wisdom, and the best wiggly butt in town. Adopting this sweet boy aged 6 has changed my life and I couldn&#8217;t have wished for a better pup to start this multi-dog household. And why I&#8217;m a massive cheerleader for adopting lovely senior dogs!\u00a0<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"738\" data-end=\"940\"><p data-start=\"740\" data-end=\"940\"><strong data-start=\"740\" data-end=\"749\">Big A<\/strong> \u2014 My gentle giant, profoundly loyalty and exempt XL Bully (he&#8217;s actually a classic American Bully but falls under the ban). He\u2019s a soft soul who carries everything he loves: enrichment toys, shoes, slow feeder bowls, and sometimes, my heart. Big on snuggles, bigger on charm.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Living with an exempt, muzzle wearing<b> Bully Breed<\/b>, helps me understand the stigma and judgment fellow bully breed owners face and the importance of advocating for them against unfair stereotypes (and navigating the UK bully ban!). And also helping their humans to manage their own anxiety and emotional overwhelm of being judged on a daily basis.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"942\" data-end=\"1134\"><p data-start=\"944\" data-end=\"1134\"><strong data-start=\"944\" data-end=\"953\">Panda<\/strong> \u2014 The brains and the bounce. As the only girl and an Arabian Village Dog, she\u2019s a whirlwind of drive, determination, and smarts. Toys don\u2019t stand a chance when Panda\u2019s on the case. She has a high prey drive and is a &#8216;typical&#8217; primitive breed. She has taught me so, so much about training free-roaming &#8216;wild&#8217; dogs and helps me a lot when I speak to our adopters.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1136\" data-end=\"1330\"><p data-start=\"1138\" data-end=\"1330\"><strong data-start=\"1138\" data-end=\"1149\">Chalkie<\/strong> \u2014 Another Arabian Village Dog, Chalkie is deaf and highly anxious \u2014 but also incredibly sweet. His journey teaches me patience, empathy, and the power of slow, trust-building work. Chalkie was the main reason I decided to dive really deep into understanding dog behaviour and embrace dog enrichment.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1332\" data-end=\"1409\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/15.1.0\/svg\/1f449.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\udc49\" \/> <a class=\"\" href=\"#\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1335\" data-end=\"1371\">Read more about the team here <\/a><\/p><p class=\"p2\">Living with this diverse pack (complete with anxious tendencies and joyful chaos!) means I don&#8217;t just teach these methods \u2013 I live them every single day.
