Want to know what my dogs REALLY want for Christmas (and we bet your dog probably too)? 🎁 I’ve put together a list of their favourite toys, treats, and accessories that are sure to make any dog’s holiday season extra special. Chalkie is a deaf Arabian Village Dog from Oman and his way to go about things is to ‘bounce them around’.

Next up is Panda – a fellow Wadi Dog and our girly. She’s the smallest of them all with only 24 kg, so falls in the medium dog category.

Last but not least, let’s look at our big nose boy Big A – and me, as a dog mom and dog trainer who loves enrichment also have a few recommendations.

What’s on Big A’s List

Big A is a Classic American Bully and our biggest one – big nosed softie.

  • Kong Dog Squeezz Ball – they come in different colours and sizes.
  • KONG Jumbler Ball – Interactive Dog Toy for Dog & Puppy Playtime – Fetch Toy with Tennis Ball (Large/Extra Large). We got this as a couple of clients recommended it to me and it’s amazing! He never destroyed it (it’s still going strong although the colour has faded after being in the garden during summer) and he still carries it around proudly.
  • The Roolo by Play9 – we got ours from Paws in Earnest (code BOSCHPUPS for a Discount) and oh boy it’s such a hit! Finally a big treat dispenser toy that is quiet (if you look for a quieter alternative to the Kong Wobbler) that is soft, big enough and bouncy. Big big fave!!
  • This boy likes to get cosy, so Hoodies are a MUST! We especially love the ones from Spark Paws and I say we as they come as a matchy matchy item for humans too (and yes of course the big boy and I wear matching hoodies and outfits).   • Whilst a Muzzle is probably a weird choice to put on here but as Big A falls under the UK XL Bully Ban (he’s of course exempt) he has to wear a muzzle. The Muzzle Movement muzzle was a game changer! It’s so comfy that he doesn’t mind and the colours can be chosen to look super friendly too (helps so much to remove the stigma). So, a muzzle is a big thing for us (as it is for all the owners whose doggies either fall under the ban or use a muzzle for different other reasons) and every dog deserves to wear a well-fitting muzzle that doesn’t restrict or limit. Whilst they are not as long lasting as the Squeezz Balls, their squeak is so enticing to my dogs and lots of clients dogs. Even Chalkie (my deaf dog) looooves to squeak them (don’t ask me why or how haha. I think it’s like a doggy chewing gum to him hahaha).
