Christmas Sweaters

Keep your dog cozy and stylish with a Christmas-themed sweater. These come in various designs, from classic snowflakes to reindeer patterns.

For broad and barrel chested dogs like Bully Breeds it can sometimes be a tough harder to find some cute sweaters that actually fit (iykyk). We love the ones from Spark Paws and Pittie Clothing. They are not only super cute but also great quality, are super comfy (Rambo and A LOVE theirs) and they have matching items for humans! They also do smaller sizes.

Festive Collars and Leashes

Swap your dog’s everyday collar and leash for ones adorned with Christmas motifs. These are both functional and decorative, helping your pet join in on the festivities.

Festive Muzzles

Some of our lovely dogs fall under Breed Specific Legislation (XL Bully Ban UK) and have to wear a muzzle by law. But there are also many, many other reasons why dogs might be muzzled. Here are just some: they might scavenge and eat stuff they shouldn’t, they might have a bite history, are on recovery and wear a muzzle instead of a cone outside .. or whatever.

As a dog trainer and dog mum to a Bully Breed dog, I am a proud advocate and affiliate for the Muzzle Movement. They do have really cute seasonal straps for their muzzles – christmassy themed (and also for other seasons). Changing our muzzle to a ‘friendly’ looking colour made a real difference to our life and how people perceive us. You can save with our affiliate code BULLYCO.

Christmas Bandanas

If your dog isn’t a fan of full costumes, a Christmas bandana is a great alternative. They are easy to put on and take off, making them perfect for even the most fidgety pups.

Grounds and Hounds has a whole holiday collection – including Bandanas, items for humans and dogs AND COFFEE!! Doggy-themed coffee and they support rescue dogs. What’s not to love?

Holiday Bow Ties

For a touch of class, consider a holiday-themed bow tie that attaches to your dog’s collar. It’s a subtle yet charming way to celebrate the season.

Christmas-themed Dog Toys

Dogs love to play, so why not introduce some holiday spirit into their playtime? Look for dog toys in the shape of candy canes, reindeer, or even gingerbread men.

Here are some of my favourite brands, who have cute toys:

Christmas-themed Dog Slow Feeder Bowls

If you know me or follow us on the gram (oh, I feel fancy saying that haha), then you probably know how much I love a cute dog slow feeder. The ones above are from Perfect Paws Boutique and you can save with our code BOSCHPUPS10.

Here are some other brands that I like:

  • Ollie b good – they have an ‘ugly holiday sweater lick mat’ – so cute! Their cloud and zoomies slow feeders are great and super popular too.
  • Sodapup (code BULLYCO for a discount) has a super cute Santa Enrichment Bowl and one with Trees – you can also find them on Amazon or local retailers | small business online shops.

Christmas Stockings | Doggy Christmas Stocking

Get your dog a personalised Christmas stocking to match the rest of the family and hang the stocking for your dog alongside the family’s stockings. You can even include their name for that extra special touch. Fill it with doggy treats, toys, and other goodies to make Christmas morning extra special.

Doggy Booties

Keep your dog’s paws warm and protected from the cold winter ground with Christmas-themed booties. These can be especially useful for dogs in snowy regions.

Holiday Themed ID Tags

Upgrade your dog’s ID tag with a Christmas design. It’s a practical way to ensure your pet is safe while adding a festive touch.

Festive Bedding

Consider a Christmas-themed bed or blanket for your dog’s comfort. It’s a subtle way to add holiday spirit to their everyday life.

Christmas Dog Treats

Don’t forget to treat your pup with special holiday-themed treats. Look for gingerbread or candy cane-shaped dog snacks. Below are some ideas but please also check out for local small businesses – there are quite a few amazing doggy bakeries (like TheSkinnyBarker or BoneAppetiteBarkary)

You can of course also make your own! You could for example get the Realistic Santa Paw Cookie Cutter and / or Cute Santa Paw Cookie Cutter from Bakerlogy or other festive pet-themed cookie moulds.

Dog Christmas Cards

Send out holiday cards featuring your dog in their festive attire. It’s a heartwarming way to spread joy to friends and family.

Fun fact: my dogs get more holiday cards from their fellow dog Insta friends (ran by other crazy dog mums like me haha – loooove this community) than me! You can find my Dogs’ Instagram Account here or look us up @theboschpups 🙂

In conclusion, Christmas is a time for spreading love and cheer, and your dog is a beloved member of the family who deserves to be a part of the festivities. With these dog Christmas accessories, you can ensure your furry friend is not only warm and comfortable but also the most stylish and festive guest at your holiday gatherings. This season, let your dog be the “paw-some” star of the Christmas show!
