9 Questions to Ask Before Adopting a Dog

Adopting a dog is a big decision, and it’s important to ask the right questions at the shelter to make sure that you choose a dog that is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. Here are some questions to ask at the shelter when adopting a dog:

Knowing the dog’s age and breed can give you an idea of what to expect in terms of size, energy level, and potential health issues.

Also, foster homes can give a good indication how the dog behaves in more natural environments. Keep in mind that the shelter environments is often scary for dogs and not at all natural when they have been using to home life. And some dogs, like bull breeds, do really badly in kennel environments without their people.
